Forest Bathing Terms & Conditions

COVID-19 Policy

Although there are no current government-imposed restrictions in England related to COVID-19, we continue to implement relevant precautions to protect our participants and staff. We kindly request that you do not attend any event if you are feeling unwell or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms unless you have a negative PCR test result. If you are unable to attend an event due to COVID-19, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the possibility of rescheduling your booking to an alternative date.

Weather Conditions

Our Forest Bathing+ sessions are held in all weather conditions, except in cases of high winds, lightning, or other extreme weather that could compromise the safety and comfort of participants. We encourage participants to embrace the unique benefits that wet weather can offer, and in many cases, the tree canopy provides natural shelter. However, if we determine that conditions are unsafe and must cancel a session, we will make every effort to notify you as far in advance as possible and arrange for the session to be rescheduled to a later date.

Clothing and Equipment

Please be advised that temperatures in the forest can drop unexpectedly, even during summer. To ensure your comfort and safety, we strongly recommend wearing long trousers, long-sleeved tops, and sturdy walking shoes with good grip and ankle support—preferably waterproof. Due to the slow pace of the session and frequent stops, it’s important to bring additional layers of clothing and a coat. Also, please carry water, sun protection, any necessary food, and any medications you may require. As part of the session includes a guided relaxation, please bring a waterproof rug (a large bin bag is also suitable) or a small, foldable chair if sitting on the ground is not comfortable for you. We reserve the right to deny participation if you are not dressed appropriately for the activity, as this is a matter of safety.

Potential Risks

Forest Bathing+ involves activities such as slow walking, deep breathing exercises, and periods of sitting or lying down in a forest environment. While we take care to mitigate risks, participants should be aware of potential hazards such as uneven terrain, tree roots, low-hanging branches, and other natural obstacles. Additionally, Forest Bathing+ can evoke strong emotional responses as participants relax and connect with their surroundings. This is a normal aspect of the experience and can lead to the release of built-up tension or emotions.

Health Considerations

We advise that participants in the first trimester of pregnancy refrain from attending our events unless you have received written approval from your healthcare provider. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, health concerns, or are taking prescribed medication, please consult with your GP prior to attending. Furthermore, if you have a history of serious health issues, including but not limited to mental health conditions, recent surgeries, medical procedures, seizures, implants, special needs, or severe allergies, please inform us in advance so that we can take appropriate measures to ensure your safety and well-being during the session.

Age Restrictions

Please note that our events are exclusively designed for adults aged 18 and over. We do not currently offer sessions for minors.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Refunds are available for cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the start of the event. If you cancel within this period, you will receive a full refund, minus any applicable booking fees. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days before the event or for non-attendance on the day of the event.

Please note that each session requires a minimum of three participants to proceed. If the minimum number is not met, we will notify you in advance and cancel the session. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule to an alternative date or receive a full refund.

In the event that we must cancel an event for any other reason (e.g., extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances), you will also be offered the choice to reschedule to an alternative date or receive a full refund.
